Assessments
Teachers make ongoing assessments of mastery of content and the ability to utilize content in appropriate contexts. In every academic subject area a portfolio of each student's work is maintained. Lesson plans are individualized and in the one-on-one tutorial a daily evaluation log is kept. With a student/teacher ratio of 3:1, teachers are aware of each student's daily progress. Individual standardized tests are administered in September and May.
